EXPLORE this majestic area!!! We leave at 8am and return some where between 5 & 6pm (depending on how much fun we're having). We trailer the horses to various trails in the Vallecito Lake area and set out for our daylong adventure. There is little doubt that these rides offer spectacular scenery and memories to last a lifetime. Highly recommended for the advanced to experienced rider. Bring your own lunch or we can provide one for you. Also bring lots of film. (Minimum of two riders)

OVERNIGHT HORSEBACK CAMPING FOR THE WHOLE FAMILY
EXPERIENCE the thrill and relaxation of a horseback camp in the wilderness. This is great for the whole family or just a "honeymoon" get-a-way. We provide all the meals, and equipment. All you need is your camera and sleeping bag. Our horses will take you to a wonderful camp setting where you experience the outdoors and see the stars at night while sitting around a warm camp fire. These are two days and one-night trips and are tailored for you. We sleep in tents on cots and cook over an open fire. Feel free to jump in and help with camp chores or just kick back and relax. It's your trip. (Minimum 2 people)

If you have a destination in mind, a favorite spot or want us to take you to one of ours, we will be happy to accommodate you. We will take you and pack all your gear on our horses. You provide your own equipment and food and we'll provide the transportation. We also can arrange for re-supply services to back country-touring groups. These trips are based on the number of horses used per day plus the cost of the wrangler/packer. Advance reservation and deposit are required.

If you have a large church group, Boy Scout or Girl Scout troop or a private party that is hiking and camping, we are able to help re-supply or pack your equipment into the Weminuche Wilderness. Give us a call at (970) 884-9235 and we will be delighted to help you with your logistics.
